Robin Bunevich is a Product Marketing Manager at Zoom. She oversees product marketing and strategy for Zoom AI. After three years of leading marketing for Zoom’s Event Solution products, and launching one of the fastest growing products at Zoom, Zoom Events, she is now focused on helping organizations seamlessly adopt AI into their workflows. Prior to Zoom, she ran marketing for live events at The New York Times, and was instrumental in helping the organization transition to a fully virtual events program in March of 2020. At Zoom, Robin uses her 15 plus years of marketing and advertising experience to drive awareness and adoption for Zoom’s AI solutions.
Hosting an event is different than it was a few years ago. Your audience may not be completely in person anymore, or even attending from the same time zone or at the same time. Attendees expect convenience, and delivering on those expectations takes time, energy, and budget that you may not always have.
In addition, the last year has changed the way we use our day-to-day tools thanks to generative AI. When you sit down to plan and create your event, it may seem like you have endless pieces to put together. We know your time is valuable, and we’ve identified meaningful ways to offload some of your tasks to new tools like generative AI and Zoom AI Companion.
When you’re building out your event, you’ll be able to generate images for all parts of your event, including masthead, emails, sessions, virtual backgrounds, video production elements, and more. This is one of the first for event platforms, and a capability with limitless benefits:
While you’re creating your event, think about whether your image should be more creative or realistic, darker or lighter. You can be as specific as you want while you refine the images created. If you have a clear creative vision, be as specific as you can – or, if you want to explore different directions, you can be a little more generic with your prompt. Generated images are automatically saved to the hub content library and can be reused in other parts of that event or different events. When you’ve settled on an image you like, you can implement it right then. There’s no need to bother with uploading existing images when you can do it all right from Zoom Events.
There’s a lot of content to create for an event, and Zoom AI Companion can help you every step of the way. You need to write event descriptions, speaker bios, lobby announcements, marketing emails, and other event content. Wherever you see the AI Companion icon , you can ask for a little help.
You may be able to plan a fair amount of your event with Zoom AI Companion, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop there. We recently announced an integration with Swoogo to add more customization and flexibility to your hybrid and in-person events. For example, you can:
At Zoom, we’re building our own large language models (LLMs), but we also partner with third-party models from leading LLMs such as OpenAI and Anthropic. Because we use a federated, multi-model approach to AI, we have the flexibility to apply the right model for the particular situation. This can mean a faster response time and a lower overall cost, which means we can continue to offer AI generation as part of our existing paid plans.
We’re delighted to bring more ways to engage with Zoom AI Companion to our customers. Our federated approach helps us introduce more people to the benefits of AI and save people more time as they use Zoom.
