August and September were busy months at Zoom, filled with several new feature releases, tools, and updates. In addition to launching Zoom Docs, our AI-first collaborative docs solution, we introduced smart name tags to help you create more equitable meetings, and made several enhancements to Zoom Mail and Calendar. Keep reading to learn more about these innovations and get up to speed with all of our August and September releases.

Zoom AI Companion

  • AI Companion for Zoom for Government: We are excited to share that earlier this month, The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP)  authorized AI Companion as a FedRAMP Moderate system. AI Companion for Zoom for Government, Zoom for Government’s generative AI assistant, empowers individuals by helping them be more productive, connect and collaborate with teammates, and improve their skills. With this authorization, we launched AI Companion meeting summaries for Zoom for Government customers.
  • Enhanced AI Companion results with OCR and chat messages: Meeting summaries can now use content from group chat messages and shared screen content to enrich the summary output. Zoom has enhanced AI Companion results by incorporating screen-shared content via optical character recognition (OCR) and in-meeting chat messages. This additional context allows AI Companion to create more accurate, reliable, and complete results. Administrators can manage these settings in Account Settings under the AI Companion tab in the web portal.
  • Email compose enhancement: AI-assisted email composition is now available in Zoom Mail service, enhancing and simplifying the experience of replying to emails.

Zoom Workplace

  Zoom Docs

  •  Zoom Docs general availability: Zoom Docs is now available! Our AI-first collaborative docs solution is built from the ground up with AI Companion at its core. Designed to increase meeting effectiveness with customizable docs, Zoom Docs can help you transform meeting content into actionable documents, wikis, and projects, and works seamlessly with Zoom Meetings and other Zoom Workplace products. Check out our guide to get started with Zoom Docs.

*Zoom Docs is included with eligible paid Zoom Workplace bundles. Account owners, admins, and users (if admin-approved) can access Docs by downloading and installing the latest version of the Zoom Workplace app from zoom.com, in the Zoom Web App, or online at docs.zoom.us

Zoom Meetings

  • Domain association: Zoom will validate users’ domains and display them in their profile cards, which are accessible in the meeting tile and participant list for both internal and external users. Customers can use greater discretion when communicating with others who don’t have a domain from the organization they are claiming to represent.
  • Zoom Mesh for Meetings: Deliver high-quality video by reducing internet bandwidth consumption for participants in the same network or location. Define locations, subnets, and parameters to fine-tune performance in your environment. Get real-time insights like parent/child ratio, mesh performance, and bandwidth savings.

Zoom Phone

  • Bulk update for holiday hours: Organizations can efficiently manage and update holiday hours across multiple site locations or sites at once, rather than manually adjusting them site by site.
  • Bulk site management: Admins can efficiently apply changes across multiple sites, enhancing the site management's flexibility and scalability.
  • Call park across sites: A call parked by a user in one branch location (Site A) can now be picked up by a user in another location (Site B), and vice versa. This seamless transfer improves communication and collaboration across sites, helping to ensure calls are handled more efficiently.
  • Zoom Phone walkthrough: This walkthrough helps simplify the Zoom Phone system setup for administrators by providing an interactive, step-by-step guide. When admins select the “Overview” page under Phone System Management and click “Begin Setup,” they are guided through essential phone system configurations.
  • Member availability report for PowerPack: This report delivers a clear, real-time view of agent availability, giving administrators a more accurate understanding of their team’s status. Admins can quickly see which agents are ready to take calls, improving their response times and resource management.

Zoom Team Chat

  • Direct link to launch 1:1 chat sessions: If you prefer chat to email, now you can add a link to your email signature encouraging your contacts to chat with you. Clicking the link launches a 1:1 chat with you.

Zoom Mail & Calendar

  • New scheduling interface design: Meeting settings are now streamlined into a single page with clear categories, making it easier to find what you need.
  • Focus time event type: Book focus time directly from your Zoom Calendar to minimize distractions while working.
  • Email compose enhancement: AI-assisted email composition is now available in Zoom Mail service, enhancing and simplifying the experience of replying to emails.
  • Email UI/UX enhancement: Enjoy an improved email experience with draggable labels, a horizontal split view, a merged "Schedule Send" button, unified banner and toast designs, an "All Mail" folder, improved group page UX, an "Auto-BCC" feature, and more.

Zoom Scheduler

  • Set a designated email(s) to always invite (CC): As a host, you can automatically add another user whenever a booking link event is booked (i.e., add your manager).
  • Ignore calendar availability for one-off meetings: If a calendar looks overbooked or full, hosts can now override an existing calendar event to generate an available time slot. We’ve made it easy to manually reschedule meetings and make space for high-priority events, such as moving an internal 1:1 out of the way for a customer sales meeting.

Zoom Whiteboard

  • Whiteboard visitor mode: Invite users outside of your organization to collaborate in a whiteboard. Configure each user's access level — editor, commenter, or viewer — and protect sensitive content sharing through clearly labeled notifications that identify unauthenticated users.
  • Whiteboard migration tool: If you use other tools like Miro, Visio, or Lucidchart, you can now import your .vsdx files into Zoom Whiteboard. Our easy-to-use drag-and-drop importer tool enables you to upload diagrams that will be automatically interpreted as Zoom Whiteboard objects.

Zoom Clips

  • Clips playlists: Easily organize your Zoom Clips into customizable playlists to create a watch list that can be shared with internal or external viewers via email or a shareable link.

Zoom Rooms

  • Smart name tags public beta: Make your meetings more inclusive by leveraging AI to apply name tags to people in a Zoom Room. Remote participants will have more visibility into who is in the room — regardless of whether or not someone is speaking – helping to improve engagement and productivity within hybrid work.

Workspace Reservation

  • Points of interest: Add Workspace Reservation points of interest (like exits and bathrooms) to your maps so customers can search for these areas or travel to them through wayfinding.

Visitor management

  • Bypass registration: Allow VIP guests to bypass registration within Visitor Management for a quicker and easier experience.

Business Services

Zoom Contact Center

  • Multi-language support for live transcription: Agents can view live voice transcriptions in their preferred language, making it easier for them to engage with customers and overcome language barriers.

  • View engagement history across all channels: Agents and supervisors now have clearer visibility into the customer engagement history regardless of the channel used. With access to engagements across multiple channels, including voice, SMS, email, authenticated messaging, and social media, team members can have a deeper understanding of consumer interactions.
  • Transfer interactions with notes: When transferring an engagement to a colleague, agents can now add an optional note (either manually or AI-generated) that provides more information and relevant context to help the receiving agent deliver a better customer experience.

  •  Pre-recorded message for abandoned calls: Admins can set up a prompt to play a pre-recorded message when a progressive dialer call is abandoned due to no available agents. This helps ensure that customers are informed about the call status rather than facing an abrupt disconnection.

Zoom Virtual Agent

  • Multiple surveys within Zoom Virtual Agent: Managers can now include multiple surveys within one bot, allowing for more flexibility in capturing the voice of the customer.
  • Bot simulator debugging tool: Test and optimize your bots before you deploy them for customers. Designed to ensure that your bots are accurately pulling in knowledge base information and generating the right answers and responses.

Zoom Quality Management

  • Agent screen recording: Supervisors have full visibility into customer and agent interactions when accessing an agent’s screen recording, which includes audio and video recordings.

Zoom Workforce Management

  • Agent shift swap requests: Give agents more control over their schedules by enabling them to view others’ schedules and easily trade shifts with colleagues where supervisors do not have to approve or deny shift swaps between agents.

  • Long-term forecasting: Build forecasts from six to 24 months into the future to help ensure your contact center is properly staffed to handle expected interaction volumes.

Zoom Events

  • No-auth event registration: Hosts can simplify the event sign-up experience by letting attendees join without authentication. This feature streamlines access, helping boost attendance while maintaining essential host controls.
  • Automatic survey launch for recurring events: Enabling surveys to automatically open in attendees' browsers after a recurring session ends can help your event organizers capture more audience feedback and insights.
  • Poll library for Zoom Events: As a host, you can access and reuse saved polls across multiple sessions in an effort to improve engagement and save time through centralized poll management.

Zoom Revenue Accelerator

  • AI Recorder for Microsoft Teams: Experience AI-powered insights for externally-hosted meetings, including those hosted in Microsoft Teams. The recorder can join meetings, notify participants of its presence, and request permission to record, while still providing access to all critical sales insights regardless of where it is hosted.

Apps, Integrations, and Industry

Advanced enterprise offerings suite

Zoom currently offers a number of products and features to help enterprise IT administrators meet their organization’s compliance, security, privacy, survivability, and manageability requirements. Now Zoom is positioning these capabilities together as an advanced enterprise offerings suite, which will help make it easier for IT decision-makers to discover these products and features, increase adoption, drive performance improvements, and adhere to security and compliance requirements..

Zoom Mesh

  • Zoom Mesh for Meetings: Expanding on Zoom’s well-received Mesh for Webinars, Zoom is launching its eCDN solution for meetings. The solution helps customers optimize downstream meeting media traffic and reduce Zoom meeting Internet bandwidth consumption by as much as 80%. The solution works for most meetings with four or more users.

Zoom Node

  • Meeting survivability: This feature allows customers who deployed Zoom Node with Zoom Meeting Hybrid to continue using the Meeting service even if they lose internet access or cloud connectivity. If this happens, Zoom Meetings will simply failover to their data centers with minimal disruption to the end user experience.

  • Share meeting summaries with a co-host/alternative host: Previously, only a meeting host could receive AI Companion meeting summaries. • Generative AI virtual backgrounds: Want to quickly change your background before a Zoom meeting? Now you can leverage AI Companion to generate unique, creative backgrounds quickly. Based on simple text prompts, AI Companion will create two custom background options for each prompt that you can immediately use as your meeting background.

Zoom Workplace

Zoom Workplace enables you to reimagine teamwork with AI Companion. Our open collaboration platform with AI Companion helps teams streamline communications, improve productivity, optimize in-person time, and increase employee engagement. Check out the latest enhancements below.

Zoom Phone

  • Quality of Service media and signaling packets tagging: Account owners and admins can tag their media and signaling packets with the appropriate Quality of Service (QoS) tagging so they are recognized and prioritized within their network. The setting for the feature is default off. This functionality allows packets from the Zoom Workplace app, VDI, Zoom Phone Appliances, Zoom Rooms, and certified desk phones to be tagged. In the case of desk phones, a resynchronization is necessary for the feature to take effect.
  • Manage the Zoom Apps icon for Zoom Phone through the Zoom Apps admin policy: Account owners and admins can control the availability of the Zoom Apps button in Zoom Phone through the existing admin Zoom Apps Quick Launch Button setting. Enabling this policy displays the Zoom Apps icon on the desktop app's Zoom Phone tab for all users in the account. The Zoom Apps launcher handles scenarios where no apps are available to help prevent errors.
  • Integrated call disposition with call types in Hubspot: Users have the ability to add call disposition details, including selecting a call type, directly in the HubSpot CRM notes while on a call using the Zoom Phone softphone. The Call Type dropdown field is available in the HubSpot Notes section, listing all the configured call types. This integration eliminates the need for users to switch between applications during a call to help improve efficiency and productivity. Additionally, account owners and admins can enable or disable the Call Type field in the Notes page.
  • SMS Auto Responder for PowerPack users: With a Power Pack license, you can set up an SMS auto responder to automatically respond to incoming SMS messages during specified conditions like out-of-office hours or Do Not Disturb mode. The auto responder can be configured to send a predefined response of up to 500 characters, with an option to append a personal note. Additionally, account owners and admins can also set auto responses for call queues and auto receptionists if no users are available in the call queue or for closed hours. The SMS auto responder is available at the account, site, group, and user levels.
  • General availability of Zoom Phone UK SMS and voice with mobile numbers: Mobile numbers for SMS and voice calling in the United Kingdom (UK) are generally available to all eligible Zoom Phone users.
  • Pro + Online License: Our new online-only license for Zoom Workplace unifies communication needs for small and medium-sized businesses, ideally for those with 1–99 employees. Stay connected with access to your business phone number and important messages, effortlessly join meetings from anywhere, and so much more.

Zoom Mail & Calendar

  • Calendar: Enhanced shortcuts: Windows, macOS, and Linux users can right-click an event to modify its color, RSVP, or delete it. For events that are not modifiable by event attendees, attendees can still change the event color, which is only reflected on their local calendar.
  • Calendar weekly transition animation: Windows, macOS, and Linux users can experience a more intuitive interface with the addition of weekly transition animations when switching from the previous week to the next.
  • Addition of a private event icon: Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android users can differentiate visually between public and private events with the addition of a private event icon to small, medium, and full event cards, as well as to the calendar side panel.

Zoom Workflow Automation

  • Workflow Automation Tool: Imagine how much time you could save by automating repetitive tasks such as requesting time off or collecting team feedback. Our new Workflow Automation tool is a no-code workflow builder that allows you to build complex workflows and automate tasks. Today, it works with Zoom Team Chat, Zoom Meetings, and third-party apps, and will soon expand to connect more products in Zoom Workplace. Simplify your workday and improve your productivity by leveraging templates to introduce new members to a channel, schedule recurring updates, move through an approval flow, and more.

Zoom Whiteboard

  • My Saved Shapes: Whiteboards are an ideal place to spark creativity and generate new ideas, but sometimes the icons and images can get lost along the way. “My saved shapes” enables you to create and save a collection of images, shapes, and icons to be quickly accessed and used across other whiteboards when needed. We’ve also introduced the ability to embed whiteboards in other applications, including Coda and Confluence.

Workspace Reservations

  • Room recommendation: To facilitate booking meetings, the room suggestion feature provides options for available Zoom Rooms based on reservation details and participant locations in the office. The tool will also consider room capacity and distance from the user’s selected desk before proposing a Zoom Room.

Zoom Calendar

  • Advanced room support: Windows and macOS users can access Zoom Rooms details, including their location and maximum capacity, through Zoom Calendar. They can find their frequently used rooms for quick rebooking, alongside a list of recommended and available room options. The enhanced filtering options allow users to refine their search further, filtering rooms based on floor level, maximum capacity, and location parameters such as site, state, or city. Note: to use this feature, Zoom must enable it for you.

Workvivo

  • New surveys experience: The newly redesigned Survey Manager enhances response rates and helps ensure every voice is heard. With new question types and the ability to choose between anonymous or named responses, you have the flexibility to create innovative surveys, like a quarterly Employee Net Promoter Score or engaging office quizzes.
  • Recognition APIs: Workvivo's Recognition APIs support shout-outs, badges, and awards. These APIs allow organizations to push recognition data to external systems, facilitating tracking and analysis of recognition trends. For more details, visit Workvivo’s developer portal

Zoom Revenue Accelerator

  • Automated Scoring for ManagersSupervisors can now leverage AI analysis to quickly and easily identify trends and recommended improvements at scale. Our AI-generated scorecards will auto-score your customer interactions and provide feedback so managers can gather more holistic data on performance trends across customer conversations. Review the justifications behind each score with helpful auto-generated comments.
  • Coaching Activity Tracker: Gain new visibility into your team’s training habits. Our coaching activity tracker allows you to identify the managers who coach their team members and see when they last gave feedback. Supervisors can access manager insights to review call activity, total scores given, and the last call joined. Sales managers can quickly see how frequently and recently they’ve coached their own reps.
Coaching Activity Tracker

Zoom Contact Center

  • Warm Transfers: Agents using the CTI connector can select which person (the original caller or the person they are transferring the call to) to talk to during a warm transfer. They can easily swap between the two parties before completing or canceling the transfer. When transferring to another agent or supervisor, or to a Zoom Phone user, agents have the same warm transfer experience. While the agent initiates the transfer and talks to the other party, the original caller hears music. This feature eliminates friction for agents who need to gather additional information from the original caller before completing the transfer.

Zoom Virtual Agent

  • Model Enhancements: Admins can opt to use only Zoom's own large language models for Zoom Virtual Agent features, without third-party AI. Features not supported by Zoom's models will be turned off in Zoom-hosted Model Only mode, controlled by account and feature settings. This gives users more control over how AI models are used in their Zoom Virtual Agent setups. Note: this feature must be enabled by Zoom.

Zoom Workforce Management

  • Bulk actions: Management admins and supervisors can utilize fixed meeting scheduling to select a group of agents and assign them to a meeting at a predetermined time. Additionally, they have the capability to leverage dynamic meeting scheduling, which analyzes a day range of requirements and determines the optimal times to schedule activities within the scheduling groups. This allows for efficient scheduling and resource allocation.

Zoom Quality Management

  • Comprehensive scorecard: Supervisors can see the trend of agent evaluation scores over a period of time to understand the impact of training or process changes. They can view evaluation scores by agent per scorecard for a given time period to identify top performers and areas for improvement. Supervisors can also see the frequency of answers chosen for each question in a scorecard by agents to identify trends. The data can be filtered by date range, agent, and scorecard.

Apps, Integrations, and Industry

Our focus has always been on giving our customers the flexibility to choose their favorite apps and tools to integrate with Zoom. Here are some recent updates to help streamline your workday.

  • Video SDK Telehealth Starter Kit: Quickly create virtual healthcare apps for the web with our Telehealth Starter Kit powered by the Zoom Video SDK. Build and customize on top of an open-source starter app available on GitHub. Adapt your app for mental health counselors, primary care doctors, specialists, and more.
  • App monetization: List and sell your app on the Zoom App Marketplace. Users can purchase subscriptions for services that enhance or extend the Zoom experience, while organizations can fully manage their app purchases, licenses, and provisioning.
  • Workspace Reservation Google Calendar integration: Users can reserve Zoom rooms directly through the Google Workspace add-in when creating or editing calendar events. Account owners and admins will need to enable the Workspace Reservation portion of this add-in.

This new feature within the admin portal gives enterprise customers the ability to customize the notice setting to include their own text, formatting, hyperlinks, and more, further enabling them to make the Zoom experience more tailored to their individual needs.

  • External collaboration: New external collaboration settings and a dashboard in Team Chat give admins better control over and visibility into external users in their accounts. These settings are available at the account level and can also be configured at the external company/account level, helping control external communications in group chats and channels. For example, an admin can enable approvals (to add external users to group chats and channels) at the account level, but disable it for a given partner company so that users can be added without approval. Admins can also view all external connections in their account in the new External Connections dashboard, providing admins with more granular control of external users in Team Chat.

March-April releases

In March, we launched Zoom Workplace, our AI-powered collaboration platform that helps you reimagine teamwork by streamlining communications, improving productivity, increasing employee engagement, and optimizing in-person time.

Zoom Workplace empowers you with Zoom AI Companion seamlessly included at no additional cost,* enabling you and your employees to be more productive, collaborate better, enhance skills, and unlock time savings — without you having to pay a premium for generative AI or needing to pick who gets generative AI superpowers.

The new Meetings experience in Zoom Workplace has a refreshed user interface, including a multi-speaker view.

New UX, simplified toolbar, and customization capabilities

  • For easy access to your most-used Zoom products and features, you can personalize both the navigation toolbar at the top of the Zoom desktop app and the meetings toolbar. Simply drag and drop the product tabs or meeting toolbar buttons into your preferred order.

Combined Meetings & Calendar tab

  • For a more connected view between your calendar and meetings, you can combine them into one tab in the Zoom app with a traditional calendar. You can view upcoming meetings, attendees, and attached assets, and access continuous meeting chats. After the meeting, you can access meeting assets, AI Companion summaries, recordings, and continuous meeting chats. To enable this view, go to the online account settings to connect a calendar.

Zoom Meetings

  • New color themes and meeting wallpaper: You can choose from new color themes — Bloom, Agave, or Rose — to suit your mood, or opt for Zoom’s classic dark or light themes for the Zoom app in your desktop app settings. Hosts can also choose from an array of different meeting wallpapers for a more immersive meeting experience.
  • Multi-speaker view: You now have the option to turn on a new multi-speaker view, which highlights people who are actively speaking in the meeting and automatically adapts the video layout to feature those participants. To activate it in meetings with more than five participants, click “View” in the top-right corner of the Meetings window.
  • Portrait lighting: Built-in AI helps illuminate your face in poor lighting, so you can look your best on video.
  • Personalized audio isolation: Personalized audio isolation helps your audio sound clearer during meetings and will help suppress background noise, especially in open environments like the office or a coffee shop.
  • Document collaboration: You can select documents from third-party apps, streamline access permissions, and co-edit in meetings.
  • Dynamic reactions: Use enhanced emojis to express yourself without having to unmute to share how you feel. You can pick from an array of emojis that will appear both in front of and behind you when your video is on.
  • Customizable meeting toolbar: In meetings, you will see a simplified toolbar where you can turn on AI Companion, share your screen and documents, and find host tools. You can customize the toolbar by dragging and dropping items (including from the “More” menu) into your preferred order.

Team Chat

The new Zoom Team Chat experience allows for a split view to maintain productivity and flow.

  • AI Companion language support: Zoom AI Companion now provides multi-language support for summarizing chats in 38 languages to help global teams get caught up after being away from their computers and to help compose new messages.

If the meeting was recorded to the cloud, the host will see an interactive card in the meeting group chat, visible only to them, prompting them to share the recording with others in the continuous meeting chat. If shared, the posted meeting asset interactive card is updated to include the link to the recording.
  • Team Chat public channel limit expansion: Team Chat public channels now support up to 250,000 members, facilitating scalability for larger communities.
  • Improved sorting, filtering, and badging: You can easily access your unread messages with a filter on the desktop app that allows you to filter by mentions, direct messages, unread messages, and muted channels, as well as an updated sidebar hierarchy:
    • Tier 1: One-on-ones, group chats, and mentions are highlighted and float to the top with numbered badges.
    • Tier 2: Meeting chats, channels, and apps are also highlighted and float to the top, but without numbered badges by default.
    • Tier 3: Muted chats/channels are displayed without floating to the top.
    • Additionally, we’ve added new ways to sort chats at the folder level in the desktop app. The available sorting options will include “My Custom Order” as the default, unread first, and alphanumeric with numbers preceded by alphabets.

The depth of this intel goes beyond simple interactions to show a true view of employee engagement and platform activity so you can make data-informed decisions to maximize the impact of your employee experience platform (EXP).

Surface critical content first with Workvivo smart feed

We want to make sure we’re keeping content on your platform engaging and relevant, so we’re making changes to the order in which content populates on the activity feed.

  • Now you’ll see posts from your team, direct reports, and leadership more often, by seeing the most engaged posts on your feed first.
  • Easily switch between the “for you” feed, spotlights, and standard chronological activity feed via the sidebar.

Optimize in-person time:

  • Zoom Workplace now has a Workspaces tab to help employees optimize their in-person time and collaborate better with other meeting participants when joining a Zoom Meeting from the office.

Wayfinding

  • Wayfinding capabilities in Workspace Reservation allow you to easily find your reserved desk and review your path around the office on the Zoom Workplace mobile app, Zoom Workplace desktop app, or a kiosk.

Companion Zoom Rooms

  • Easily pair a Zoom Rooms for Touch device with a Zoom Room and use additional inputs like the camera from the companion device for added functionality.

Add WhatsApp and inbound email to your omnichannel experience

  • Businesses can now expand their digital communication channels to include WhatsApp and inbound email (Gmail and Outlook), giving customers more flexibility and choice, and making it easier for agents to engage with and respond to customers.

All-in-one agent desktop

  • Agents benefit from custom app integrations with Zoom’s open and flexible framework. This allows teams to build apps from proprietary or third-party data sources that surface relevant customer information directly within the agent desktop, reducing the need to toggle between apps and allowing for personalization and faster resolutions.

Seamless connections to back-office experts

  • Zoom Contact Center customers with Zoom Power Pack can enable agents to easily transfer customers directly to back-office experts. AI-generated engagement summaries provide context, enabling frictionless escalations and helping reduce handling time.

Zoom Contact Center now available with EU data residency

  • Continuing our commitment to local data residency, Zoom Contact Center customers in the EEA can now store certain data locally in Zoom’s EU data center region. This supports customer expectations and compliance with data requirements, particularly in sectors such as government, healthcare, and financial services.

New AI-powered supervisor dashboard

  • We have extended the capabilities of Zoom AI Companion for Contact Center to help make supervisors more efficient. In a single dashboard, a supervisor will be able to monitor their team’s live engagements in real time and access live AI-generated sentiment and conversation summaries. This will help supervisors quickly identify which agents need support and take fast action. A couple of clicks is all it will take to directly listen, whisper, or barge in on an interaction right from the dashboard.

Scheduled web call-back

  • Give your customers the ability to request a callback at a specific time in the future via your website. This allows CX leaders to more effectively manage wait times and improve customer experience. This feature is an additional option to queue callback, which allows customers to request a callback once an agent is available.

  • Revenue organizations who use Zoom Revenue Accelerator can now enhance their customer conversations with deal memos, which will provide a brief summary of a conversation and an analysis of its impact on the possibility of winning a deal.

For marketing professionals, Zoom Events enhancements amplify hybrid events to help make them more engaging.

Swoogo for Zoom Events

Track webinar email setting

  • Account owners and admins can enable the “Track webinar email setting,” allowing specified email addresses to receive a copy of webinar emails sent from the system to webinar participants. This feature captures and sends a copy of Zoom-generated Webinar emails, including panelist invitations and reminder emails, attendee registration confirmations and reminder emails, post-event follow-ups, and absentee emails, to the designated email addresses specified by an account admin.

Full emoji suite support for Webinar reactions

  • Similar to meeting reactions, Webinar attendees are able to choose from the full suite of available emojis in addition to the six standard reaction emojis. The availability of all emojis versus the standard set can be controlled at the account, group, and user-level settings page.

Improved Webinar backstage experience before live session

  • The webinar feed is displayed if there are panelists in the webinar space before the webinar is officially started and attendees are allowed to join. A smaller indicator shows that the webinar is off air, making it easier for panelists to know what will be seen in the webinar before attendees join.
