Hybrid and virtual events have made a clear impact on the events industry as a preferred and revenue-driving alternative to in-person experiences. Organizations of all sizes are turning to our virtual event management platform, Zoom Events, to produce ticketed, live events with the reliability and scalability of Zoom Meetings and Zoom Webinars.
To give remote audiences an enhanced opportunity to experience and engage with live events, we’re pleased to announce our new Zoom Events and Zoom Rooms integration.
Zoom Rooms are a modern conference room experience designed for today’s hybrid workspaces. Offering HD-video collaboration in the office, classroom, and even your home, Zoom Rooms enable in-person and remote participants to share content and interact in real-time.
Attendees can now take advantage of Zoom Rooms’ ease of use and scalability to join a virtual event with the touch of a button and enjoy an enhanced viewing experience with colleagues in the same room. Plus, hosts who use this integration will have an even more streamlined experience by pairing their event with any Zoom Rooms under the same account. With just a few clicks, users can join an event, share content wirelessly, and use more advanced hardware with Zoom Rooms to deliver dynamic presentations.
If you’re hosting a meeting or webinar on the Zoom Events platform, it’s easy to start a live meeting or webinar session through your personal Zoom Room for an engaging conference room experience. Events are displayed on the desktop client and your Zoom Rooms event listing. Hosts can start each live session individually via their personal Zoom-certified hardware or Zoom Rooms Controller. Because Zoom Rooms integrates with popular calendar services, it’s easy to display your Zoom Events session on your desktop client and personal Zoom Rooms calendar.
Presentations via laptop cameras and slide decks have become widely accepted, but as a presenter, the experience can feel lackluster without being able to move around and talk to an audience. Our Zoom Rooms and Zoom Events integration allows hosts to deliver a polished presentation from any environment using a camera and microphone powered by Zoom Rooms appliances. Now, event speakers can present at a podium, conference room table, or home office with the same benefits of the in-person experience.
Live, in-person events are returning, but the expectation for a virtual or hybrid option remains in high demand. Attendees crave engaging, inclusive experiences that still provide value as a virtual viewer. Our Zoom Rooms and Zoom Events integration fuses the experience for remote attendees to watch, network, and engage with others. With Zoom Rooms Smart Gallery, remote users can view individual video feeds of in-room participants for a more engaging meeting experience.
When it's not feasible to send your team to an event, but you want to attend virtually, satellite viewing parties provide a real-time, collaborative opportunity to watch and interact with colleagues from the comfort of a conference room. Even more, small groups within the same conference room can break out and connect with attendees at the event through a variety of Zoom Rooms appliances. It’s simple to join a live meeting through a Zoom Room that’s paired with the Zoom desktop client.
The event industry is rapidly evolving to support the growing demands for hybrid experiences. Remote attendees want an engaging experience that offers the same benefits of meeting in-person but with the convenience of virtual participation. Our Zoom Rooms and Zoom Events integration is just one of many tools and integrations designed to help event planners facilitate successful hybrid events across a variety of venues.
