Zoom Webinars can now hosts 1 million attendees

Hosting virtual events is fairly common, as corporate events, business meetings, educational conferences, and social get-togethers can all be hosted with relative ease using Zoom’s Webinars and Events solutions. But if your guest list exceeds the capacity limits of traditional webinars, don’t panic. We’ve made it easier than ever to host an extra-large, high-capacity virtual gathering with our newest offering: single-use Zoom Webinars licenses that can accommodate up to 1 million attendees.

Where Zoom Webinars previously accommodated up to 100,000 attendees and 1,000 panelists, it has expanded to include single-use licenses (in the U.S. only) that can host groups of the following sizes:

  • 10,000
  • 20,000
  • 30,000
  • 50,000
  • 100,000
  • 500,000
  • 1 million

Ideal for presenting content to large audiences who don’t need to connect their audio and video to one another, Zoom Webinars is built on our easy-to-use, familiar platform that so many customers have come to know and trust. Our flexible and scalable solutions now enable event organizers to host massive, one-time virtual gatherings with relative ease.

Expand your reach to new audiences with Zoom Webinars

If the thought of hosting large audiences feels intimidating, our single-use webinar plans come with hands-on support from Zoom's event services team to help ensure your event runs smoothly. You can feel comfortable knowing you have the technical support and assistance you need for a large-scale event.

Once the webinar is up and running, attendees can then quickly join from their web browser or the Zoom app. With such a big audience, we’ve made it easy for hosts to ask questions and collect feedback through our “polls” feature, which was newly enhanced to accommodate larger audiences (note, some features may be limited for webinars exceeding 100,000 depending on consulting services support).

What’s more, attendees enjoy the same best-in-class video and audio technology that helps make your Zoom virtual event a memorable, engaging experience.

Find a virtual event solution to fit your unique needs

Zoom Webinars is the best solution for hosting larger online events, but we know there may be times when you’re planning something smaller or need different features and functionality. To help you achieve your unique goals and maximize business outcomes, we offer a variety of hybrid and virtual event solutions.

When planning your next remote event, here are some options to keep in mind.

Zoom Meetings

Zoom Meetings is our flagship videoconferencing solution that enables you to connect with others using high-quality HD audio and video. Built directly into Zoom Workplace, our open collaboration platform with AI Companion, Zoom Meetings seamlessly integrates with our collaboration tools like Zoom Docs, Zoom Whiteboard, and Zoom Team Chat.

Zoom Meetings is the easiest way to connect one-on-one, catch up with your team, or conduct online training. It’s ideal for smaller groups but can accommodate as many as 1,000 attendees. Participants can schedule a meeting in advance or launch one spontaneously and can record and share the meeting privately with others. Translated captions can enhance communication while Zoom AI Companion, your AI assistant, helps summarize meetings and accelerate productivity. Participants can also interact easily with one another through chat, filters, reactions, and hand-raising, and have control over their video and audio settings.

Zoom Webinars

Zoom Webinars are great for large online meetings and events. They can accommodate groups as large as 1 million (with the expanded single-use license) and last up to 30 hours with 1,000 interactive video panelists.* Ideal for large-scale trainings, company kickoffs, executive panel discussions, and leadership seminars, Zoom Webinars give hosts greater control and flexibility. By limiting the audio, video, and screen sharing functionality to designated presenters, hosts can reduce the risk of disruptions from the audience.

Webinar branding allows you to customize the look and feel of each event with tools like wallpaper and nametags and helps build a layer of brand equity to grow your business. Our flexible pricing caters to scaling organizations and enables you to pay per event, per month, or per year.
